Dan Alexander's current work is inspired by nature, textiles, travel, and architecture. Being an artist and world traveler, he looks at the world around him and how it could be translated into glass. Much of Dan's inspiration comes from photographs he has personally taken, historical objects, and memories for his childhood. Like photography, he wants his sculptures to act as a moment frozen in time. Through color, texture, and patterns he wants the viewer to create their own relationship and personal connection with his work.
