Nolan Windholtz has been a professional potter for over thirty years. He began Round Tree Pottery in 1999 in a small studio in Panama City, Florida. Round Tree Pottery grew to employ twelve artists and potters, and at its peak supplied art and pottery to over 400 galleries throughout America. Today Round Tree Pottery is a one-man operation where Nolan handles every part of the creative process. Nolan throws, sculpts, glazes, and fires. Nolan is now a popular workshop instructor who teaches future clay artists and potters. Working with different faith based organizations, Nolan seeks to start different pottery businesses in emerging countries like Uganda. He enjoys bringing his potter's wheel into Christian churches for visual sermons, a ministry that has taken him around the world.
