Dream Tree Medallion

Dream Tree is part of the Adrift collection. Hand painted, the complex brass collage work depicts a tree, or a peacock perhaps, as the coloration  and intricate inclusion suggests. The trunk, slightly swollen, is designed to resemble a tree in Argentina called the palo borracho  ("drunk stick") .

The bail is silver-plated brass with a lacquer finish to protect it and to minimize tarnishing. Chain is rhodium-coated sterling silver snake, 16" or 18".
