Jeremy first started working with glass in 2002, and was blown away by the possibilities of expression he could learn to reflect in this medium. Using silver, gold and other metals he can achieve a vast array of colors and textures ranging from organic to clear and iridescent. Using a specially designed torch, Jeremy melts rods and tubes of borosilicate glass at around 3000 degrees to sculpt into these pieces of art. When Jeremy is not scuba diving for more inspiration in Hawaii or the Caribbean, Jeremy is an avid mineral and fossil collector, traveling the country digging and prospecting for interesting rocks and gemstones, which are also a major influence in his work.
