Micheal Nourot and Ann Corcoran started making glass together in 1974. Over the years they have made all kinds of decorative and functional glass works. They have been glass makers to the Pope, Presidents, and major corporations. A TV movie was made about them in 1996, "Alchemy in Light", which was shown world wide on the National Geographic channel.

The Nourot's son, Nicholas, has been part of the studio since 2004. As part of the new generation of itinerant studion trained artisans, Nicholas brings a fresh and youthful outlook. He has trained with many of today's well known glass artists including Dante Marioni.

What defines the Nourot Studio expression in glass is a commitment to quality material that is handled with technical expertise. Nourot work aims to delight the senses and inform the viewer about the myriad qualities of colored glass. Every piece by Nourot is always fully hand formed at the bench in the old world traditions. Every Nourot piece is registered, signed and numbered.
